This carefully curated safari takes you through Kenya's premier wildlife destinations, combining exceptional game viewing with meaningful conservation encounters. The journey begins in Amboseli National Park, where you'll observe large elephant herds against the dramatic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. At Aberdares National Park, a home of a high concentration of rhinoceros and other endangered species of wildlife, followed by tracking Samburu's unique wildlife in the arid north. The adventure culminates in the world-famous Masai Mara, home to the Big Five and the spectacular Great Migration (seasonal). Lake Naivasha offers serene boat rides among hippos, while Lake Nakuru National Park is best known for its spectacular flamingo populations and its rhino sanctuary, which is home to both black and white rhinos.

Tour Plan
Your safari starts with your pick-up at 7:30 am from your hotel or airport in Nairobi and drive to Amboseli National Park. We arrive shortly after noon and check into Kibo Safari Camp, enjoy a hot lunch and some time to relax. At 4 pm, we head out for an afternoon game drive. Afterward, we head back to our camp for dinner and our overnight stay. The highlight of Amboseli is the great concentration of elephants, the largest in the world. It is home to over 1600 elephants from 56 different families. Each of the elephants has a name and a photo attached to its name. You will enjoy all of this with the magnificent background of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest point in Africa standing at 5895 meters.
Lake Nakuru National Park is best known for its spectacular flamingo populations and its rhino sanctuary, which is home to both black and white rhinos. The park also boasts a diverse range of other wildlife and is a popular destination for birdwatching and game viewing.
After breakfast, we head for Naivasha to arrive in time for lunch. The day's activities include a boat ride on Lake Naivasha followed by a walking safari in the animal sanctuary, Relax at the hotel for the afternoon, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the shores of Lake Naivasha. we head back to camp to freshen up, enjoy a freshly prepared dinner and overnight.
At 6 am, you will proceed for an early morning game drive in search of the big cats, then return to the camp for breakfast. You will then head for Samburu Game Reserve. We will arrive in time for lunch and have some time to relax. At 4 pm, we depart on an afternoon game drive. We will search for the elusive leopard and other wildlife. The highlight of the park is the special Samburu Six. They include the Baisa oryx, gerenuk, Defassa waterbuck, reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra and the Somali ostrich. At 6.30 pm, we will return to the camp for dinner and our overnight stay.
As Samburu is in a hot region, also known as a semi-arid area, we recommend taking advantage of the mornings and late evening as most animals go in to the shade to escape the hot sun. At 6 am we depart on an early morning game drive. We return to the camp for breakfast and relax until mid-afternoon. At 4 pm we depart on an afternoon game drive. We return at 6 pm to the camp for dinner and our overnight stay.
Aberdare National Park is known for its diverse wildlife, including a high concentration of black rhinos, and as the location where Princess Elizabeth became Queen in 1952. It also boasts stunning waterfalls, lush forests, and moorland landscapes, offering unique safari experiences.
Have breakfast at the lodge and then head to Hell's Gate National Park. Here you have a chance for cycling safari and hiking at the famous Georges of the park. You will later drive to Masai Mara. Between July and October, things get busy in the Great Rift Valley. Millions of zebra and wildebeest make the perilous crossing across the Masai Mara in search of new grazing territory. In their wake comes a veritable horde of predators. You'll arrive in time for lunch and then have time to relax from the drive. At 17.00hrs you will be picked from your hotel by Masai Morans (warriors) who will guide you through a walking safari in the dense Masai Mara as you head later for a cultural tour to some of the old tribes that still exist. You'll return to lodge/camp for dinner and your overnight stay.
Today's itinerary is flexible and you can discuss it with your guide and plan for the day's schedule. You can either have a relaxed breakfast and depart for a full-day game drive around 7:30 am with a picnic lunch. This will give you a chance to visit the Mara River where the migration happens. You will also have a better chance to view wildlife all day and return back to the lodge/camp late afternoon. The second option is to leave at 6 am for an early morning game drive and return to the lodge for breakfast. Relax until the afternoon game drive at 4 pm. Return at 6.30 pm for dinner and your overnight stay.
Again, you can choose to split the drives as follows: you can either have a relaxed breakfast and depart for a full-day game drive around 7:30 am with a picnic lunch. The second option is to leave at 6 am for an early morning game drive and return to the lodge for breakfast. Relax until the afternoon game drive at 4 pm. Return at 6.30 pm for dinner and your overnight stay.
Depending on your flight details, you will organize the details of your departure from Masai Mara with your guide. You will be transferred to your Nairobi location or to the airport for your home-bound flight. In Nairobi you could also request optional excursions: Giraffe Centre, National Museum, Bomas of Kenya, Kazuri Beads Centre or the Karen Blixen Museum.
