Overview
Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya’s top wildlife destinations, famous for its breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro and large elephant herds. Spanning 392 square kilometers, the park features open savannahs, swamps, and seasonal lakes, providing a habitat for diverse wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and over 600 bird species. The observation hill offers a panoramic view of the park. Amboseli is also a great place to interact with the Maasai community. The best time to visit is from June to October, during the dry season, when animals gather around the water sources for easier viewing.
