Lake Naivasha is a stunning freshwater lake known for its rich birdlife and hippos. Surrounded by lush vegetation, it attracts a variety of animals, including giraffes and zebras. Visitors can enjoy boat safaris, where they can spot hippos and a variety of bird species, including fish eagles and kingfishers. Crescent Island, accessible by boat, offers walking safaris among grazing wildlife. The lake area is also home to luxury lodges and campsites. The best time to visit is during the dry seasons from June to October and January to March when wildlife is more visible.
