Overview
Hell’s Gate National Park, located near Lake Naivasha, is a haven for adventure lovers. The park is unique for its dramatic cliffs, deep gorges, and geothermal activity. It is one of the few parks where visitors can walk or cycle freely among wildlife such as zebras, gazelles, and buffalos. The Ol Njorowa Gorge and Fischer’s Tower offer excellent hiking and rock climbing opportunities. The park inspired the landscapes of Disney’s The Lion King. Visitors can also explore the natural hot springs and geothermal spa. The best time to visit is during the dry seasons, from January to March and June to October.
